| With the Pashto software developed by KHPALA PASHTO,
you can now easily write and read E-mails in
Pashto language using either MS Outlook Express or MS Outlook.
Yes it is absolutely possible now. In the following lines a detailed
description is provided on how to make the different settings in order to write E-mails in
Pashto language. |

USING MS OUTLOOK EXPRESS
A) TO SET DEFAULT ENCODING FOR PASHTU
Step 1: Open MS Outlook Express
Step 2: On the Tools menu click Options
Step 3:
Click Read tab and then click Fonts and then make the following settings:
Font settings = Unicode
Proportional font = Pashtu Waziristan
Font size = Depends on you. can select any size
Encoding =Unicode (UTF-8)
Then press Set as Default and then press OK |

Step 4: Click the Send tab in the Options
Step 5: Click International Settings, select Unicode (UTF-8) as shown below.

For Mail sending format and News sending format
you can select either HTML or Plain text as shown below. |

For both the Mail Sending Format and News Sending Format
the HTML Settings and Plain Text Settings must be as follows: |

Step 6: Click the compose
table in the Options and make the desired settings for font color and size by clicking the
Font Settings for both mail and News.
That is all. Now you can write and read messages in
Pashto language. The message must be written in Unicode format in order to read it properly. |

B) TO MAKE SETTINGS FOR CURRENT MESSAGE ONLY. Step 1: Open MS Outlook Express.
Step 2: Open New Message Window by Clicking New Message.
Step 3: On the Format menu click
Encoding and Select UTF-8 and Right to Left as follows. |

Also select either Plain text or HTML under the Format menu.
Step 4: Select the font to
Pashtu Waziristan and the color and size.
That is All. |

Note: Whether you make your default settings for Pashto or make settings for
Pashto language for the current message only, in both cases keep the plain text settings as shown above,
i.e. select Uuencode. Otherwise you will not be able to write
Pashto mail as plain text. But you will only be able to write Pashto mail as HTML.
Important: You must have selected the Pashto keyboard before composing your e-mail in
Pashto. |

USING MS OUTLOOK
A) TO SET DEFAULT ENCODING FOR PASHTU
Step 1:
Open MS Outlook.
Step 2:
On the tools menu, click Options, and then click Mail Format tab as follows: |

Step 3:
In front of "Send in this message format", select "HTML" as shown above.
Step
4: Under International Options, select Unicode (UTF-8) for both the outgoing messages and unmarked receiving messages. |

| Step 5:
Click
Fonts and then select the font, its color, size etc. for the three categories as shown below. |

| Step 6:
And under the International Fonts, make the
following selections. |

Then click "Set as Default". That is all.
Note: In MS Outlook, the Pashto Mail can not
be written as Plain Text. So always select the HTML. |

B) TO MAKE SETTINGS FOR CURRENT MESSAGE
ONLY. Step 1:
Open MS Outlook and then open new message.
Step 2: Under Format
click Encoding and then select Unicode (UTF-8). Also select HTML as
follows: |

Step 3: Under Font
select Pashtu Waziristan and font color and size etc.
Step 4: Under paragraph
select the alignment and Right-to-Left order. That is all. Now you can
compose your message in Pashto language. But remember, select the
Pashto language keyboard in the task bar. |
